Strategy I used to solve it...
1. 650+ 300=950
600+300=900
50 + 900 950
2. 500+210=710
500+200=700
700+10=710
3. 590+200=890
500+200=800
90 + 800= 890
4. 400+456= 856
400+400=800
800+56=856
The answers is 160. How I got it? I take away the 1 from the 101 and then I put the 1 to the 59 then its 60. then I added 60 to the 100. then the answers is 160
What is 59+ 101?
